Light in the Storm

It rained today. I could feel the wind shake our home. I could feel the movement deep in my chest.
When I went outside, I saw a scene sent from the heavens. There were bright beams of white sun breaking through the oppressive clouds, lighting up anything it could reach.
Here are some scriptures that I read in the midst of stormy days. I hope they cast light on any darkness in your life.
(please forgive my taking some out of context)

“…for they are not lost unto the Father.”1
“…there will I meet thee.”2
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”3
“I am He who doeth it.”4
“Will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you?”5
“And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.”6
“…and thou didst bear all these things with patience because the Lord was with thee; and now thou knowest that the Lord did deliver thee.” 7
“And I have been supported under trials and troubles of every kind, yea, and in all manner of afflictions; yea, God has delivered me from prison, and from bonds, and from death; yea, and I do put my trust in him, and he will still deliver me.”8
“…then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.”9
“Nevertheless, after wading through much tribulation, repenting nigh unto death, the Lord in mercy hath seen fit to snatch me out of an everlasting burning, and I am born of God.” 10
“I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you.” 11
“Know ye not that ye are in the hands of God? Know ye not that he hath all power, and at his great command the earth shall be rolled together as a scroll?” 12
“…we trust God will deliver us, notwithstanding the weakness of our armies…”13
“…but they are numbered unto me, for they are mine.” 14
“Fools mock, but they shall mourn; and my grace is sufficient for the meek, that they shall take no advantage of your weakness.” 15
“…and I will look for him.”16
“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”17
“…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” 18
“…and he did know the thoughts of their hearts.”19
“…and they did have light continually, whether it was above the water or under the water.” 20
“Yea, cry unto him for mercy; for he is mighty to save.”21
“Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.”22
“…continue ye in my love.”23
“…come and fear not…”24
“For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.” 25
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”26
Keep looking for Him. He will meet us at the “gate”. 27
